Petro Omid Asia drilling rig is a 2012 model with a capacity of 2000 horsepower.
This rig is for drilling wells up to a depth of 7000 meters and for land use.
The manufacturer of the mast is the KERUI company of China, but most of the mechanisms and systems of the mast are from reputable American brands, some of which are:
- 1 unit of top drive system: NOV Varco 4
- Diesel generator: Caterpillar 3512B
- Vibration system: DERRIK
Petro Omid Asia rig was purchased in 2011 and after the final commissioning in 2012, it was moved to Azar oil field (Mehran-Ilam) and drilled 3 wells there.
This rig is one of the successful rigs in the mentioned field and has fully satisfied the client. Before buying a rig, all the conditions related to Iran's wells have been checked and taking them into consideration, the order and purchase of the rig has been made, and for this reason, it is one of the ideal rigs for drilling Iranian wells.
This rig has 28 caravans for the drilling camp and rig site itself, and it was purchased from Mammoth Company, which has a high level of quality.
